Or more importantly Jim Lea's. i always thought he played a Gibson, it was a John Birch.

But only from the late 70's onwards - that's not the bass he played during Slade's heyday in the early 70's.

Interesting site though. Incidentally, that early photo of Noddy Holder with a Gibson and a bass player standing behind with a "Hofner Futurama" ... erm, no, actually ... it's a Kent PB24-BG made by Hagstrom. Anorak, me?

Oo er! This is a fact:

Dave Hill's third choice guitar (a tobacco sunburst les paul, and very nice to play it is too!) is sitting in my living room at this very moment. My mum's boyfriend is their guitar tech/head roadie.

Woo, I done a claim to fame!
