Selling on behalf of my father. My apologies for any cheesy sales patter. And it's not the car at fault, it's the gear box in the boat. I didn't want to seem too cheesy talking about daddy's yacht

(it's only a small yacht given to him by his dead friend)

So your Dad owns a boat - no reason to be embarassed - hope he enjoys it. I know I would. Good luck with the sale and hope the gearbox does not prove too expensive to repair.

Cheers woolleydick, I just didn't want anyone stereotyping a yacht owner. And he loves it to bits.

I've stuck a nice neck on a strat clone and now that plays like a dream (and looks the part ) he's also bought a PRS copy with nice pickups so he's quite happy guitar wise and has saved a lot of dough.
