We aim to have some great [b]workshops[/b] on the day, pretty much as we did last year but this time, we'll have a lot [b]more space[/b] which should help! For example, the entrance foyer at the venue is about the same amount of space we had at the Holiday Inn last year. And we have the main theatre and a cafeteria area at our disposal as well, which gives us a lot of options! There will be [b]refreshments [/b] available on the day for a small charge of course which will help increase the profits and keep everyone happy!

It's going to cost [b]£185 for the hire of the venue[/b] plus we've been advised to take out some [b]public liability insurance cover[/b] (which we will do) therefore, we need to charge [b]£10 per head[/b] entrance fee to cover those cost. And, like last year, all [b]profits will be donated to good causes[/b] so not only will we have a fabulous day 'navel gazing' as only bass players can, but we will be raising funds for good causes.. in particular [b]Baschat [/b]itself, which is why we're all here in the first place talking about this stuff!

[b]Other details[/b] such as which rooms/spaces will be used for what function etc, masterclasses, raffles etc, will be added over the next few weeks. [b]Hope lots of you can come because it's that which'll make it a great day![/b]

What would be [b]really helpful[/b] from everyone who's interested in partcipating on the day is:

Also, on the assumption i buy an amp, anyone bringing internet access? I dont feel like bringing 1200 cash all that way! I could use Paypal or a cheque

At this rate you'll be bringing the entire contents of your house! But yeahhhhhhhhh Most BCers wont be used to chatting in real life about basses for hours on end. So would probably need their website fix too!
