Deep Thought
Lovely bass-I had an SR500, which was a cracking bit of kit-neck was a bit narrow for my tastes, but it was a still a great bass.
Tait
i don't think i've ever seen a drop D tuner at the bridge before, aren't they usually on the machine heads? thats a lovely looking bass by the way!

I remember having the 2001 catalogue with the AX series (I think that the name of them, the ones John 5 used to play) having the detuner at the bridge. Nice bass too! woolz
yes quite a few manufactors put it on the machineheads but ibanez dont seem to. its a lot quicker and takes 0. of a sec to flick it up with your right hand because your playing around that area. so you can drop to the D half way through a song vv quickly if you want to. cheers for the comments
Rayman
Superb. The Ibanez K5 I used to have punched well above its weight, awesome bass.

bobbass4k
Aesthetically I think that just might be my perfect bass, never thought I'd say that about an ibanez, not generally a fan of gold hardware but it works on that, what's the sound like? bright/warm/clanky/growly? woolz
to be honest mate, its soo versitle you can make it how you want it to sound. blues through to metal its capiable of it all. i set it so it gives me a thump in the low end but enough twag in the top end. you really can boost the bass or treble depending on what you want. i love it . geilerbass
I've got the 5-string version of this - it really is quite awesome. Glad to see someone else on here with an SR20th!
