P-T-P
When did MIJ jazzes, even if they are from the period when there was no US production, become worth nearly three times what I would expect the asking price to be? Musky
He doesn't mention it being made when there was no US production now, so he must have revised it. The serial has 7 digits anyway, so I assume he's mistaking the 'I' at the start for a '1'. An 'I' prefix would make it 89-90. Either way, the guy's dreaming. john_the_bass
Bloody Hell's bells. I thought my E serial Precision was worth about £450 if I chucked a Hiscox case in with it. My JV must be worth about £15000 in that case!
99ster
This seems to be all the rage at the moment - anything older than a year or two has now become 'vintage' - or 'rare'... And because the really valuable old Fenders are commanding high prices sellers like this guy seem to think their crappy bass surely must be worth thousands as well. Dream on muppet!
