beerdragon
I have a MiM Fender jazz fitted with Wizard 84's i noticed last night at practie the E string was a lot louder than the other strings i had'nt noticed this before but last night we had the volume cranked up a bit more than usual. and the more i listened the more annoying it got. i'm sure i've read somewhere on Basschat this is usual on some jazz basses. can it be cured? i'm looking for a Badass bridge, don't know if this would make any difference, Ta. Steve_K
BOOM BOOM! Sorry But seriously - could it be badly set pickup height or a dodgy E string? Edited September 12, 2007 by Steve_K
Basszilla
Totally - try lowering the pickup at the E string. Are your strings old? Do you use compression?
