Krysbass
Just the 2 - a fretted and a fretless. If I got any more basses, it would most probably be to replace one of the one's I've got. I like to keep my gear to a bare minimum - less to look after, but I daresay this attitude would change if I suddenly had a lot of spare cash lying around! But sometimes they do seem to pass through awfully slowly! The 3 projects are more just necks, bodies & boxes of bits - what they lack is time, obviously - and the SR800 that's not "passing through" is now officially my daughter's - waiting for the day she stops messing round with 6-stringed toys and keyboards. I live in eternal hope she'll come to her senses, one day... Jon.
Cantdosleepy
Wow. I've got my jazz, which is my main bass. I've also got the first bass I ever got - a Peavey Milestone (Pbass copy) I got when I was fourteen. Don't use it, but won't get rid of it. Ah, nostalgia! gypsymoth
four: vox custom (quite like an SB1000) alembic 5 veillette citron 8 veillette citron - picked it up to do a fretless conversion that hasn't happened. I'd be pleased with myself - except in the last couple years I've added four guitars, so they now outnumber the basses by 1. to be fair, one is a bo diddleyesque travel piece using a salvaged neck, and one is an el cheapo for visiting kids to mess about on without causing me concerns. gilmour
5 five, what do I need with 5 basses, that's 4 more than i need. I was shocked when I realised. But that includes one that's been on long term 'lone' to a friend (Fenix mini bass - same scale length as a Strt guitar), and the one that I stopped using 10 years ago and is in the attic (stingray copy can;t even remember who made it) Of the other 3 I only really gig one of them (the Yamaha TRB), one lies around the house for noodling on (Spector), and the Warwick, well i looks pretty doesn't it! Ooooh and I have a double too, but that's different isn't it? Please don't tell me it's 6. Edited September 13, 2007 by gilmour
