Aria IGB

Anyone have experience of an Aria IGB 30? Looking at a short scale version of this, and think it would be better for my wife to mess about on than the Rockbass Corvette she's using at the moment.

I had an IGB60 as my first proper bass and it was an excellent starter instrument that I occasionally pine for.

Thanks for that but that probably makes it worse! This one had a EMG P pup retro-fitted.

Aw never mind, it was probably rubbish anyway. Honest.
When I see the model designation 'IGB', I always read it as a word rhyming with 'Digby'. Is it just me?

I had an IGB Spirit bass as a first bass. It was god awful, stick with the Rockbass IMHO you wont go far wrong with a Warwick. Japanese vs German design? The latter wins every time.

If it was for me I would agree - but my wife is quite small and struggles with the scale length. That's the only reason for looking.

Though I think my Cumbrian design OW is better than either

I showed her that one and then showed her a video of Free so she could learn to do an Andy Fraser impression.

Will have to take another trip down to GAK and try one out.
