bythesea
Anyone have experience of an Aria IGB 30? Looking at a short scale version of this, and think it would be better for my wife to mess about on than the Rockbass Corvette she's using at the moment. Rowbee
I'll reply anyway. I had an IGB60 as my first proper bass and it was an excellent starter instrument that I occasionally pine for.

This one had a EMG P pup retro-fitted.
Rich
Aw never mind, it was probably rubbish anyway. Honest. When I see the model designation 'IGB', I always read it as a word rhyming with 'Digby'. Is it just me?

CPBass
I had an IGB Spirit bass as a first bass. It was god awful, stick with the Rockbass IMHO you wont go far wrong with a Warwick. Japanese vs German design? The latter wins every time. Col

Col[/quote] If it was for me I would agree - but my wife is quite small and struggles with the scale length. That's the only reason for looking. Though I think my Cumbrian design OW is better than either

Will have to take another trip down to GAK and try one out.
