Is it possible to use the XLR to feed a live desk, and the jack output to drive a power amplifier (and not a bass amp)?

Yes, I have done this too - effectively FOH plus independent stage monitoring.

cool. I only ask as I am not using a specific bass amp for my stage rig, but a QSC power amp, and I need to make sure the jack output is hot enough to drive a power amp?

I use a QSC PLX1202 into a Schroeder 1212L

In an A/B with my Ampeg pre, I can push the Ampeg far harder and get more volume out of it, but 1200W of bridged power amp still pushes the Tonehammer signal more than enough Hope that helps - its a fantastic little preamp IMO.

Am I getting this right, when you press the ags button, is it like a pre-set where you can have a totally different EQ setting, or is it just like a gain boost?
