nottswarwick Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Cool. Not tried one of these. What sort of sounds does it make? Is it possible to use the XLR to feed a live desk, and the jack output to drive a power amplifier (and not a bass amp)? Thanks Chris

I think the Aguilar web site mention it somewhere. Max [sfx]
Sean Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009
Yes, its what I do with mine.
Yes, I have done this too - effectively FOH plus independent stage monitoring.
nottswarwick Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 cool. I only ask as I am not using a specific bass amp for my stage rig, but a QSC power amp, and I need to make sure the jack output is hot enough to drive a power amp?
Finbar Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I use a QSC PLX1202 into a Schroeder 1212L In an A/B with my Ampeg pre, I can push the Ampeg far harder and get more volume out of it, but 1200W of bridged power amp still pushes the Tonehammer signal more than enough Hope that helps - its a fantastic little preamp IMO.
NoLogic69 Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Hi, Am I getting this right, when you press the ags button, is it like a pre-set where you can have a totally different EQ setting, or is it just like a gain boost? Cheers, Mario.
