60's Jazz Bass

Hey,

In a local music shop i saw one of these hanging up, but i can't find any information on it. Its in a dark pink, with the headstock the same colour. The maple neck has been stained darker and it has a rosewood fretboard. It is one of the best looking basses i have ever seen. At £525, its not badly priced either. Anyone got any information on this?

I reckon it's a Classic Series Jazz (60`s one, made in Mexico). The finish sounds like Burgundy mist - very sexy looking basses those, with great sounding pickups IMO.

Very nice. I was looking for a 62 Reissue Jazz and played a Mexican one in the shop. Fantastic bass. Almost as good as the USA made version and close to half the price.

That colour is called Shell Pink IIRC.
