these used to be the business back in the day, and the bass ones particularly are rare to say the least. somebody buy it - so i don't!!!

yeah he used to always be advertising them on the back of the US BassPlayer magazine as i recall - i [i]think[/i] before he got signed etc that he used to work for ADA too? or perhaps i dreamt that bit?

I think you are correct - I remember reading that somewhere, possibly in the linear notes of Rhinoplasty?

I've got an MB1 with matching cabs. All analog with blendable tube and tranny preamp stages, and all under midi control. Ahead of its time!

good point about the blue membrane buttons though, i've had old midi sound modules with those before and they can tend to be a bit dodgy...

Guilty as charged John! I just put a random bid in, never thinking
I would be the only bidder.
I used an ADA pre/power setup a few years back and was very impressed by it,
but found the preamp a bit of a pain to use. I prefer the "Hands On"
approach(knobs/sliders etc.) Can't wait to try it with the Navigator.

By the way, hope you're still enjoying the Status.
