SOLD - Squier 51 Guitar in Black - For Sale or Trade

Hi - up for grabs is my Squier '51 guitar in black with a maple neck. It's one of the few Squier models that wasn't a straight Fender copy & is a hybrid of a Strat, a 51 P Bass & a Tele, with a single coil at the neck & a humbucker at the bridge.

Although the '51 is a modders delight (see [url="http://www.instituteofnoise.com/squier51/forum/default.asp"]http://www.instituteofnoise.com/squier51/forum/default.asp[/url] for some spectacular ones!), this is all original & in very good condition. Controls are master volume/push-pull humbucker coil tap & what you'd expect to be a tone control at the back is actually a three-way switch for the pickups (neck/both/bridge). Action's pretty low & soundwise it has a pretty versatile selection of Fendery tones. I don't really play much guitar these days & I'm only selling it to fund more basses!

I'm based in Newcastle & would prefer to do a face-to-face deal for £100 as there's no case, but could do a deal via post if required.

Alternatively, I'm on the look out for a decent short scale bass, so would be interested in trades/part exchange too - I'd prefer a semi/hollow body shorty (e.g. Danelectro, Ibanez Artcore etc.), but will consider anything at the mo. If you're interested in a trade, give me a shout & we'll take it from there...
