Fender TV Bassman combo

Anyone played the new TV Bassman 1x15? I'm very keen to hear how it sounds.

You're not alone. I'm also interested to hear the 12". From the sounds of the vid, they do sound reasonably fat though, but that guy always plays quietly. It would be good to hear it in a band context.

I rang up yesterday, trying to buy one of the 2 x 10 combos. These "special prices" are all ex-display stock (with very limited numbers) and they can't ship them, so collection only in Manchester or Liverpool.

Pity - I quite fancied one of the 2x10's...

They obviously trade under different names & websites, as when I called them initially to check stock, they asked which website I saw the prices on. When I told them, the guy said he'd check stock and get back to me. Sure enough, he called back, which is when he told me they were ex-demo units which couldn't be posted. He mentioned something about "these prices were automatically imported from our other website and shouldn't have been", so whether they were shown as display stock on their other site (whatever it it), I don't know.

Some Fender sound bites here. Quite useful, as you can select different mixes to hear - full band/drums & bass/bass only. The songs also feature the different TV amps and different Fender basses ('51P, AM P, RW Jazz, Deluxe Jazz). It says what the gear is on screen too.

I am getting a bit of GAS for one of these. They do seem very expensive though for what they are

I had a fairly gentle go on the 15 at Mansons some time back. I liked it, but it was pricey, and much heavier than my 500W 2x12 rig. I used a flatwound-strung 51RI, so vintage sound was automatic!

i have the tv 15 tried the ten and 12 the 15 blows the other two out of the water bor bottom end and mids
