Tee
You're not alone. I'm also interested to hear the 12". From the sounds of the vid, they do sound reasonably fat though, but that guy always plays quietly. It would be good to hear it in a band context. Pete Academy
Anyone?
The 12's a winner, so the 15 should be even better. Proper old school. Plug the Jazz or P in, and away you go.
Tee
I found a few more short samples (mic and then XLR out) here (scroll to the bottom of the page). gjones
Hmmmmm Bassman 12" £549 I wonder how long that'll last. Seriously retro....... I'm tempted http://www.imusician.co.uk/acatalog/Other_....html#a00067390
Tee
er, lol. They've priced the 150W 10" the same as the 350W 2x10 Has to be a mistake. Edited January 29, 2010 by Tee
tredders
er, lol. They've priced the 150W 10" the same as the 350W 2x10 Has to be a mistake.
I rang up yesterday, trying to buy one of the 2 x 10 combos. These "special prices" are all ex-display stock (with very limited numbers) and they can't ship them, so collection only in Manchester or Liverpool. Pity - I quite fancied one of the 2x10's... Tee
So essentially false advertising, without even any small print. Looks like the sort of online people i like to avoid.

Looks like the sort of online people i like to avoid.
They obviously trade under different names & websites, as when I called them initially to check stock, they asked which website I saw the prices on. When I told them, the guy said he'd check stock and get back to me. Sure enough, he called back, which is when he told me they were ex-demo units which couldn't be posted. He mentioned something about "these prices were automatically imported from our other website and shouldn't have been", so whether they were shown as display stock on their other site (whatever it it), I don't know. Tee
Some Fender sound bites here. Quite useful, as you can select different mixes to hear - full band/drums & bass/bass only. The songs also feature the different TV amps and different Fender basses ('51P, AM P, RW Jazz, Deluxe Jazz). It says what the gear is on screen too. Musicman20
Anyone got a proper gig review of one of these?
Linus27
I am getting a bit of GAS for one of these. They do seem very expensive though for what they are
Telebass
I had a fairly gentle go on the 15 at Mansons some time back. I liked it, but it was pricey, and much heavier than my 500W 2x12 rig. I used a flatwound-strung 51RI, so vintage sound was automatic!

Walker
The 2x10's are like hens teeth, nobody seems to have stock.
Linus27
It seems many places do not have them.
