£2K firm. No trades +£ unless it is for bythesea's Overwater (not that I am stalking it at all!) or poss a pre MM stingray.

I posted the other day saying that an Alembic was 'IT'... wrong.... yearn, yearn, no money but your bass is 'beyond'.... couldn't you whistle and pretend the turbo was working and keep the bass??? Driving slower saves lives... (apart from those it bores to death...)
Good luck with the sale... wait wait wait... I'll swap you for the turbocharger from my car :)

I have copied and pasted the below from here. http://www.ritter-basses.com/ritter-basses-info.htm

I'm afraid that I have no sound samples and no way to create ones at the moment. Sorry.

"Over several years of experience with different Players; different in body height and different in playing style, I defined a standard string spacing for all my instruments. This spacing is progressive increasing from the high to the low strings. The spacing is not traditionally measured from mid of each string to mid of each string.

On my Bass Guitars the spacing is measured from outer edge to outer edge of each string. This is mathematically not correct, but You have a real better feeling and control while moving with the right hand from string to string.
The standard spacings are: "
Bridge: 72mm (2,84")

The pickups are made out of RARE EARTH magnets.
This exclusive powerful material has a very great open sound with a lot of dynamics.
The tone development is exceptionally consistent over the whole frequency range. This results in a pure pristine sound. You just hear the tone of the instrument without any pickup interferences.

The Pickup Cover is made out of ebony.

The Bridge Pickup is inserted at an angle of 3°.
The Neck Pickup is inserted at an angle of 7°.

This results in a well balanced low-frequency-response of both -thin and thick- strings.

1. Master Volume (Push-Pull Potentiometer to switch between Active Mode and Passive Mode)

2. Pickup Balance

3. Tone Blend (only available in the passive mode)

4. Dual Potentiometer for High Cut and Boost (on Top) and for Mid Cut and Boost (Ring)
4. (only available in active mode)

5. Dual Potentiometer for Bass Cut and Boost (on Top) and Mid Frequency (Ring)
5. (only available in active mode)

7. Output Jack with integrated Power Switch

The MASTER ELECTRONICS is powered by 18 V (two 9V batteries).

Lovely bass, but not for me - this time at least. But never say never :)

Owen,

I'm probably displaying my ignorance here, but how can the string spacing possibly be 72mm? Does he mean the total distance from B-string to G-string?

Sorry, I took my eyes of the ball on this one.

I am in North Wales.

The spacing feels like a 17mm thing. It is not Lakland wide, but not tight either. I would give measurements, but each string to the next is different. Is it a gimick? I don't know. It is comfortable, but no more or less than a bog standard 17/18mm spacing.

It turns out that the Turbo is not blown on the car after all, however the mechanic cannot actually find anything wrong with it. I will leave the sale open for now because I am actually happy with the basses I have and much as I am enjoying the Ritter, I do not NEED it (and liquid assests are always handy :)

I'd be very tempted to buy this off you if someone buys my sei. I really don't need it and it isn't practical for my current projects but I would use it to play a punk gig just for the banter (currently do it with a 6 string dingwall!)

C'mon people someone buy the Sei and let's get the economy moving again. We can do it together.

In an effort to get the economy moving this is now on Ebay.

It sold on Ebay. The winning bidder then declined to buy when he found paypal charging him 2400 Euros instead of the 2250 Euros he had bid. I'm guessing bidders remorse. Needless to say it is going back up again but I thought a gentle nudge here would do no harm. I would give the non paying bidder grief but all his feedback is private and I'm guessing that there is absolutely nowt I can do about the situation. What a drag.
