I went to the Shuker workshop with a friend who was looking to purchase a single cut through neck five string.

Excellent times. The guys (and Ruby the dog) were welcoming and helpful.

I think my next bass will be coming from there!

Jon did some fret/setup work on my electric guitar and now it plays amazingly plus he was exceptionally helpful for such a small job, so nothing but praise from me too!

One day I'll own one of his basses.....

Played a real beauty on Friday that belongs to Happy Jack! Apparently it's one of the first Shuker ever made and hence, has an extra special value to it.

But it's playability and tonal options were superb, as was the craftsmanship!

It was indeed a bass and a half. It's very light too!
