nottswarwick
Does anyone stack a 102 combo on top of one of the Markbass full size cabs? I would think it would fit nicely and the corners lock in at the front, but just wonder about it tipping back accidentally (due to the tip back feature). Or is thin not really a problem? Thanks Chris
Beedster
With a piece of kit that valuable I'd make sure there's no way it can fall back.
nottswarwick
exactly! So, anyone?
Clarky
I saw the bass player from Squeeze in BGM had a rig comprising a 102 combo stacked neatly on top of a full sized Markbass cab so it can be done I think.
Raggy
I'd make some 'chocks' out of wood to stick behind it.

I was saying don't do it unless you have either secured it to the cab below or filled the gap with a secude block of wood or similar. I pulled a 210 off the top of a 151 at an audition once - not very cool I'l admit and I didn't get the gig - so I'm wary
Fraktal
I stack my 102 combo above a 151HF cab, and yes, the corners at the front of the combo stack perfectly. Anyway there wouldnt be a problem if they didnt, because most of the time, when reharsing, I tilt the combo to hear myself better (though I need to pull it a little bit) and it has never moved, not even a milimeter. I suppose the carpet covering the 151HF and the rubber feet on the combo are working as they should. You would need to hit the combo hard to make it tilt back when stacked. Most of its weight is at the front. Edited August 17, 2009 by Fraktal
