I mainly play bass with my fingers actually but I don't like to limit my techniques. The picks were bought by me for playing guitar.

I've known a few people that have ordered personalised plectrums from various places & the plectrums they've received have always been really cheap, sh*tty quality ones.

I've been thinking about getting some (just for myself - since I lose at least three picks a week) for ages now... but I can't think of anything to get printed on the damn things. :)

Re losing picks. Remember when you were a kid and your auntie used to knit you woolly mittens with a big bit of wool sewn to each glove and then you fed it through your sleeves? Well, you know where I`m going with this...Save you a bloomin fortune.

Think I`ll get onto the patent office right noo.

I don't think you'll find much of a market for knitted woollen plectra.

I don't use picks for bass, but over the last 6 months I've been playing loooooaaads of guitar and I've reached the point that I've lost so many that I now randomly find ones that I've lost - I think my house has reached it's saturation point for lost picks. I bought a box of the Jim Dunlop USA Nylon .73mm picks and they’re all around the house somewhere :)

I'm down to my last few Jim Dunlop "Riffs" plectrums in bright red.
I have NEVER found any since, they were discontinued in the UK, and most shops have never even heard of them.
Anyone got a source? Must be the really lairy scarlet red or bright green ones in .73mm

I used to play mainly guitar and have not got over using picks. I have tried but it is just built in.

I use Dunlops Green 0.83, same as Lacuna Coils bassist.

Thanks for the heads up guys.

Mike
