JamieBenzies Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 In a shop in Plymouth I found a very curious Spector bass guitar a while back, at the time I didn't think much of it, but looking back it may have been a brilliant deal. So the point of this post is; Does any one know what this Spector is and how valuable it is? It's a 4 string with the normal Euro shape (I think) in a scarey sparkly gold finish, It most notably only had one Humbucker and nothing else. Can you name it? Quote
Hot Tub Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Goldy Lookin' Bass? Sorry. Coat ---> door. Quote

WHUFC BASS Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 How much was it? Price would normally be a good indicator of the model. Quote
gafbass02 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I remember them coming out. I think the top horn was slightly different. I thbk it was about ten years ago, I forget the name but they were as I recall spectors first 'budget' model. Gold sparkle, single soapbar. I think it was reviewed in bassist. A precursor to the legends and other budget stuff that followed. Quote
Kiwi Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 sounds like it could be one of the Performer range? Quote

cgordonfreeman Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Try asking Molan or that guy that knows lots about Spectors. It's ok, i'm already wearing a coat. I'll just leave... Quote
