wateroftyne
This bass is not just a fantastic instrument but an investment as a similar instrument was recently on ebay for £9765.00 (YES!) and that was approx 6 years younger. Despite the couple of faults this bass is an absolute WOW and I would hope for £5000 +, Uhh... right.
Clarky
Final bid of £1037 must have rather disappointed him then
Noisyjon
There should be bl00dy breathalyzers on PC's/Macs aswell, just to stop those silly buying sessions late at night
SS73
Very odd the whole thing, they either know exactly what they're doing or are complete asses, been years with a broken pot?, strange sepia photos n out of focus etc etc, looking at history did our German friend win, the guy who sells the parts from guitars for big money... Cat Burrito
In his defence he doesn't actually say whether the £9765 1979 P-bass actually sold?!?
raptor
Has been very lovingly looked after: A few minor faults: 1. Broken volume control (knob snapped off) - volume control set on full so works perfectly and has been used like this for years, but can be replaced quite easily for £20 - £30. 2. One clasp on hard case snapped off which does not effect transportation or secureness. 3. Slight markings to body owing to age/experience. but dont worry its authetic as proof is : is in it's original state - as it says on the case Fender, made in the USA.
