Gust0o
It's not my style of music, but I have a lot of time for Jamserson - he knew how to put a line together. I've picked up the odd bit.

Happy Jack
I have to say that's not my favourite JJ bassline. I always think it's nice when the bass player at least occasionally plays on the beat. Or somewhere close to it. Or maybe in the same post code. Realistically, if I learned to play that line absolutely note-perfect and took it along to rehearsal (yeh right, as if ...) , the rest of my band would fall apart when I played it. It only works because the rest of this band is prepared to make up for the lack of a steady bottom to the song. The drumming is superb. The Bass Doc
Just caught 'Behind a painted smile' on the old steam radio do we know for sure it's the man on bass? (also features one of the best snare sounds ever recorded)
