warwickhunt
Do search on this forum and I'm sure it's been covered but to save time... 20+ years ago I/we were getting £160 shared between 4 of us, the usual pub fee for us has now gone up to a staggering £200 In all seriousness I wouldn't entertain any gig for less than £180 (between 4) and we normally get £200, with some bigger better pub venues @ £240; Club gigs/Parties/Weddings and your 'starting' at £400 without having to hire in any gear, unless it's the dreaded 'Mates rates'. Most we got was £800 for 2x45 sets at Christmas but we are a pub rock covers band, so that wasn't bad.
ZPQ
Sounds about right - for pubs it's 200 - 400 depending on the crowd pulling power and size of the place, with a gradual increase as you move into clubs and then functions. wotnwhy
for straight up functions, with 45min to hour long sets, then £400 would be the minimal for me. but then i live down in S/W wales, and people are pretty tight ar$ed round here. if your out in the cities, i'd start for around £600?
