This is one reason for viewing the item late at night, while bored sh*tless. To pass the time, you read the explanatory text, instead of just looking at the pretty pictures.

Fairly sure is it is a 90 deg the it should be fine, especially if it is crossed over as comb filtering affects mostly low frequencies. As the off axis disperion of the speakers probably isn't great (why the side speaker is needed) they probably won't interfere with eachother much at all.
