This is the first time I've used an on-line social site and feels a bit weird...!!

Still....

Hi all.
For my sins I live in Belfast in 'the black' north of Ireland. I am also ..............A lefty.

Being no longer as young as I was, I've been playing for longer than some of you have been alive. (that's not to say I know what I'm doing.)
Ive played ,originals and covers, with hard rock outfits, pop acts, blues noodlers, Good ol country boys, dub fiends, indie kids, improvised groove funk jam band type things etc. Jazz I like to listen to but can't get my head (or fingers) round playing.

Ive toured a fair bit ( always Europe ) and have nearly (big word that innit!) been signed to majors once or twice.
Am providing large posterior for a couple of local original artists and am busy working on my own stuff with an old friend.
Once we got some stuff completed I'll post links (oooh world wide web speak!) etc.

Ok now the anorak's on,

Basses......
Stingray 5 , Fender Jazz ( customised with East pre-amp Bartolinis and Bad ass) Ricky 4003, Hohner VB 9with a low B and EMG active stuff,
Stingray fretless, and also a Stagg EDB (this I had to make left handed myself.)

FX.....
Yes, but not very often!!

Amps and boxes....
Eden Nemisis 250 1x15 combo ( 4x8 ext cab normally )
Kustom Groove 1200
Peavey 400 , old but nice Bi-amp
Varius Peavey/Kustom 1x15 2x15 and 4x10 cabs.

When someone makes an amp and speakers that fits in my pocket and fills the Albert Hall, I'll concider civilisation to be at it's zenith.

Well that's about it for now, I'll resume my normal occupation of waiting for Mr Gilmour to ring and book me for the Floyd's
next world tour hahahahahahahahahaha.

Nothing above the 5th...!!!

Russ.
