A Musicman bass i actually like the look of

Never seen one before, doesn't look like a toilet seat or a hacksaw job so i don't know if you can actually count it as a Musicman.

I always liked their guitars and not the basses. Anybody wanna buy it me?

strangely, that's one of the only musicman basses i'm not that interested in, it's pretty, it's not not REALLY a musicman is it. In fact only musicman i'm interested in these days is the sterling

man up Id put the big mean stingray and bongo above a sterling, but i like necks that fill my hands (ooh matron!)

haha, i don't exactly have girly hands, but i'm not a fan of the stingray neck, the bongo neck on the other hand, verry nice not tried a sterling properly yet, but i quite like the idea....

I think I'd prefer a "toilet seat one" given the choice. Always secretly fancied getting one but never got around to it.

I like that too. I normally hate MM's, and I may even be responsible for the 'toilet seat' references ( I know I've used that phrase in my previous castigations of the Bongo design), but I think that looks good-and I'm not normally a fan of the Tele shape for bass, either. It's the MM oval scratchplate that I don't get on with-I saw a chap using one on Saturday night with no scratchplate, and it didn't look at all bad-and sounded great. Oh no, not another bass to add to my list of 'basses I must look into when I've got some spare money' ie. never. That's never going to happen with the Bongo, though.
