0175westwood29 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 tried one in mansons and im considering picking one up! as a practice amp for my room, as far as im aware its very close to the ampeg tone, maybe not as warm but not a bad tone and considering it was on 1 in mansons bloody loud i imagine! anyone have one? what are peoples views on the amp? andy Quote
Cat Burrito Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I tried one in Dawsons (or played through one trying a bass which I bought) and was really impressed. Good tone and for a practice amp it's as good as it gets Quote
0175westwood29 Posted August 23, 2009 Author Posted August 23, 2009 indeed plus i could probs use it for smaller gigs/practices as it seemed pretty bloody loud! Quote
basswarrior66 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I got the Micro VR head early this year and recently gigged with it at a 200 person capacity venue with no problems. I could not afford the matching cab so i am playing through a Laney 4x10 cab. As a relative novice i also love the simplicty of the control panel, bass, mid and treble. Its so easy with just those options to find a sound you like without spending hours/days/weeks twiddeling around with too many control knobs. Quote
