hi, i realised the other day that i haven't even picked up my bass in a long time, and although i really love having it, i could do with the money from selling it, and it would be nice if someone ended up playing it. its an Aria STB series in sunrise, it has 2 or 3 chips, 1 of them about a cm, so not in perfect condition, but i will sell it with a stand, a case, a strap a tuner and an amp. oh, and some spare strings. could any of you please giv me some advice about how much i should sell it for, and where i could sell it
cheers

It will help if you upload some shots of the bass onto the thread. The 'For Sale' thread right here is very active and should give you best access to people who might be interested. If you're not sure what to sell it for you can always ask for offers.

Well, you are on the right Forum! A clear set of photos (including the dings) and a brief history of the bass will help BC'ers point you in the right direction.

Edit: beaten to it! The photos will come in handy anyway if it doesn't sell here as you can use them for eBay or Gumtree

Also, update your profile so that it shows your location. Aria make jazz and precision style STB's, they are decent cheap basses, but don't usually have as good a resale value as a Squier for example. There's usually a few on eBay so you can guage a price, then try asking on here or the gumtree and sell on eBay as a last resort because they fleece you!

Oh, and nice bass Clarky!

I picked up an Aria STB Jazz a while ago for £45 on eBay, sunburst with a few knocks, this one:

That was a steal though, it's a cracking little bass and well up to gigging, i was geniunely surprised at how good it sounded.
