Gallien Krueger Backline 600 head

Are they any good.

I've found one for sale on eBay and I'm hugely tempted by it.

Has anybody used these before and what are peoples opinions on them?

According to G-K the only difference between Backline gear and their normal gear is the country of manufacture, so theoretically this should sound fantastic and be built like a tank.
