GLOW IN THE DARK SCRATCHPLATES

Was browsing t'bay as is my wont, and I came across these.............

I was looking for fret lights and found this company who make light up sctratchplates.......they had a pic of P with one on and I can't decide if it's really cool or the tackiest thing I've ever seen !

Theyre on here now too, aurora project is the name. Do a search and lets try to get some basschatting discount so i can get lights on my neck too

Well unfortunately ive had to send it back, the switch had a dodgy wire and ended up snapping. No biggy tho, theyve been great about it and are going to sort it out and send it back.

Problem 2: Has anyone here ever had a problem getting a 9v battery into the cavity on a pbass?

Thats a shame. Hope you get the replacement soon.
I was hopping it wouldnt be a 9volt job. Was kind of hoping it would be the flat watch type cells.

Nah its a 9v battery. Ah well bass will probs have some routing done to it soon anyway so i might get it done at the same time (MM style pup on the bass too ) Theyre helpful and friendly though and apparently im the first person to ever report this problem (weird?!)

the Aurora Project are very good people to deal with, i got a mirror scratchplate from them and to make sure you get the right size/shape i sent in my scratchplate and they traced around it to make a perfect copy!

i'm not sure if you can do this with the glow guards, but if you can you'd have to do it via thier website.

Yeah it was a perfect fit cause i sent the old pickguard. Unfortunately they didnt realise that the 9v battery doesnt fit!
