KevB Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 You'd be popular turning up for a gig in the corner bar at the Dog & Duck with that lot ^_^ Quote
alexclaber Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Almost exactly twenty years on I bet the constituent parts are still doing sterling duty. Hopefully the trainers were retired some time ago... Alex Quote
Sibob Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 1989 huh? Probably 500watts or something lol Si Quote
51m0n Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Urghh that much Peavey gear in one room, brings back back-breaking memories! Quote
JTUK Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Never understood the point of all that.. 4000watts of foldback will make all that a stupid waste of time carrying it all in.. Quote
leftybassman392 Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Produced a teenage 3piece band doing a festival in Germany a few years ago - bass player plugged into a D.I. box... Quote

I used to rehearse through one of those cabs. Horrible, horrible, horrible. The thought of more than one is beyond terrifying. Quote
BigBeefChief Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 The cabs are probably doing the rounds in a number of covers bands throughout Europs, the heads are in the loft, and the trainers are on Jeff Berlin. Quote

bluesparky Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 My first ever amp was a peavey, my mum mis-read the badge on the front of the amp and for ages thought it said pervy. Quote

Shockwave Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I had one of those Peavey 1x15/2x8 cabs before. Really brilliant cab. With Bi-amp/crossover circuitry in the back. Heavy but it was worth it! Quote

Loads of bottom, reasonable top, nothing else whatsoever. Still, I generally have a hate/hate relationship with Peavey gear. Black Widow = hideous sound in my book. EDIT: Just seen your gear list- no offence meant!!! Edited August 26, 2009 by 4000 Quote
