I don't know but I guess the £50 tag is because it is an academic book, unlike the cheaper popular titles?

Bilbo - how about using your author status to score a freebie 'review' copy and lend it round the members, kinda like the Rick Wakeman book. It might help to elevate the tone of any future debate about "hierarchies of virtuosity and mimesis".
