V4lve
I remember being rather disappointed when I found out that the Dandy Warhols managed without a bass player. Got me thinking...what other bands have done the same trick. The Doors White Stripes Any more of note?
acidbass
The Black Keys are a pretty good rock band who don't have a bassist - I always miss it when I listen to them though.
Tee
i like quite a few bands without bass players. There's also: The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Pussy Galore, Japandroids, Sleater-Kinney, Coachwhips, The Kills, Royal Trux, to name only a few. leschirons
Used to see a local band in the early 70's with two bassplayers. They were called something like Maladed Brean.

BigRedX
Sunn 0))) don't really count because they tune down so low they don't need a bass player. By that reckoning you could include pretty much every electronic band too.
