dannybuoy
I saw these posted at Talkbass ages ago but IKEA didn't stock them in the UK. Now they do, and they are only £3: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50058512 http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50058507 Paint it and stick velcro on it and you have yourself a dirt cheap Pedalrtain alternative! The one from the original TB thread had been modified to look like this: Edited August 28, 2009 by dannybuoy
i made a pedal board quite similar to that, i transport it in a guitar gig bag and just fold the bit where the guitars neck would be over the top and into the handle on the front! (bit of extra padding) not sure how it'd handle the back of a transit van with cabs falling on it etc but it'll do ok for now
bobbass4k
Are the gaps between the slats big enough to get patch cables through?

But if it doesn't then it'll be a job for the circular hand file!

burno70
Great idea - I may invest in one of these and buy a flight case to put it in.

cheddatom
B&Q but it's way too expensive. I'm sure someone else has a better source.

Dread Bass
Also if you read the Talkbass thread another guy who copied the idea moved two of the lats to make the space between big enough for cabling.
