So, im still unhappy with all the cabs ive built so far, and now that i have the money(nearly a whole year later) to actually buy one i decided i would, just to have a decent sound sorted out so i can get on with everything else.

So my budget being 300 euro or under, ive looked around for all the cabs i can find for under that price and theres a few.

First the Kustom DE 4x10 400 8 ohms

Ashdown Mag 4x10

Peavey tvx 4x10 8 ohm

Well those are the only ones i can find for my price, theirs also the ampeg B-4x10 except its 200 watts rms and i need 300-350 watts handling.

Ive only played the Mag 4x10 and it was grand, did the job. But are the others any better. If it helps i play a fender jazz 24 with swing 66's and my amp is an ashdown mag 600R.

Thanks
Sam H

EDIT: i live in Ireland which really rules out most of the stuff for sale here as the postage im guessing would be horrendous unless someone knows a company who can do cheaply enough.

Personally...for 300eu, I be thinking 2nd hand... so keep a look out on here for a decent 4x10.

There was a Goliath going for £300 a little while back which is a great cab IMV...

I'm more than happy with my 410TVX. Powered by my Peavey MkVI head it has good low frequency response, very punchy and is very loud. It can produce nice crisp tones to thanks to a very useful hf horn. It kicks the Marshall MBC410 I used to own into the middle of next week.

I didnt mention that im in Ireland, so postage from the uk would be hell im guessing. Most of the BC users are in the Uk as far as i can see.

Thanks Bassman, any other opinions.

Just had a quick scout round in the For Sale section..and for around the figure you have to spend..there is an EBS 1x15 with horn, a couple of TE 4x10's and an SWR Triad ..for starters

All worth a look, IMO

i would have to agree with JTUK, a 2nd hand goliath II is the way to go, they sound great and they're rock solid

I had a Peavey 410 TVX for 15 years, wish I never sold it, put a Hartke 3500 head through it, played heavy stuff with lots of low D and B, always perfect!!!

Just had a practice with Robwaves Peavey 4x10, with sansamp into fx return of a 100w laney head, it outpunched the bass drum, not really ideal with first practice with a drummer, but would normally be a good thing.
