YouMa Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I prefer rarer stuff i collect 70s disco vinyl i have some french stuff which is very rare bands like cortex,which is french jazz funk from the 70s,i have a good album by a band called aquarian dream,the best producers at the time apart form rogers/edwards has got to be the mizell bros,they did some great stuff with donald byrd. There was a post on here a few weeks' ago where someone suggested funk basslines. It's not as easy as that. Like any form of music, you have to immerse yourself in it to play it properly. Quote
