leschirons Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I was watching, an early 4 string Overwater on Ebay yesterday. It's now finished. Although it was not my sort of bass, I can't believe it finished at £283.00 Someone got a bargain. Maybe it was a lucky BC'er. Quote
BigRedX Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 For some reason old Overwater basses are really under-valued at the moment. Last year I picked up a 5-string fretless for a little over £550. Really nice playing bass in very good condition for an instrument that's over 25 years old and with a very interesting history. It turns out that it was the very first 5-string bass that Overwater made and because of it's previous owner has probably been on some quite famous recordings. A good time to buy for any Overwater fans. Quote
Alien Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I had my eye on that one too. As you say, someone (not me , unfortunately) got a real bargain. A Quote
vmaxblues Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I was watching that too, and nearly bid, someone definately has a bargain! Quote
