My silly daughter seems to want a red (probably epiphone) SG guitar, so she wants to sell her lovely daisy rock heartbreaker. Sounds & feels very much like my mustang with its 30" scale and punchy 'Duncan Designed' P bass pickup, but heart-shaped.

...And very Purple (with lots of mojo).

The purple heart one reminds me of the one Rob Davies in Mud played in the seventies:

I'm guessing it was a John Birch.

I'm man enough - I've thought for a while we could use a couple of diasy rocks in the ZZ trib.

Band brain storming session tonight , as we tend to do every so often , if I can persuade our guitar player to consider one too I'll have this on the watch list.

'Course I would. :brow:

I'm starting to think we need an "Are you man enough?" sticky - particularly considering how sorely tempted I am by this.

err, I've actually played one of them... friends...

they are top heavy, unbalanced shortscale wierdos, you cant play sat down and it sounds surprisingly good. Ballsy even.

Come on, be fair, surely it looks more like a big purple arse than a pair of balls!

Hang on, I'm not doing a very good job of selling it am I? :)

It does balance a lot better using the extra strap button I added where the bottom horn would be.

In the Mud picture both the bass and the guitar are by John Birch.

The bass J-LP said is an 8-string and the guitar is a 12 string. The guitar re-appeared as a prop on the cover of the the Lisa B "Fascinated" single.
