Fitzy73
i just got a Tokai h/puncher , i love the sound and feel of it. but i the neck is slighty back bowed around the 7th to 12th fret area which is causing fret buzz. i have adjusted the truss rod to try and level the neck out but it becomes too loose(the truss rod nut is at the heel of the neck) its not bad but i like a low action .i put 50-110 string on it but made no difference. any suggestions . cheers Edited September 3, 2009 by Fitzy73
7string
Seems like the opposite of the usual problem where the neck won't go straight enough. So do you have a rise in the neck between the 7th and 12th? Put a straightedge on the neck and see if it rocks. It it does then you have a hump. I'd clamp the neck straight then tighten the truss rod just snug so it's held there.
