mim jazz

i am contemplating going for one which was on ebay but didnt get bid on

its white with rosewood neck...

are there different models etc so i can determine what to offer...

its passive and has the old style bridge

any help appreciated

I think they changed the neck finish some time in the past. I played a maple/maple standard Jazz yesterday and it felt identical to my MIM Jazz (with a maple/maple mighty mite neck). The original neck on my (2001 model) bass is glossy, now I think it's a satin finish. Also the new necks feel a little thicker but I might be wrong on that.

Some colours seem to be worth more than others. There's also the 60s classic and the 70s reissues which are also worth more.
