funkypenguin Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 thats a beautiful coffee table alright.... Quote
Mowac Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) I wouldn't play a bass that ugly even if it was under a court order. Hell, for that kind of money, I'd keep John Diggins at Jaydee busy for the next several years with my orders alone. I might have a Unicorn bass built, (They are about as expensive as Alembics!) waynepunkdude Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I'd get a Sadowsky and penis reduction surgery, I've needed it for a while. Quote

XxBassMastaXx Posted September 4, 2009 Author Posted September 4, 2009 its the kind of thing 50 cent would have if he played bass! Quote
geoffbassist Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 is this the worlds only chav bass... i cant think of any others off the top of my head?......... Quote

Tait Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 ok, its pretty hideous, but its not THAT bad. i think the worst part is the inlay to be honest. closely followed by the gold hardware (but that applies on any bass ever, gold hardware = BAD). Quote
purpleblob Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Any thoughts on the 10,000 year old mammoth ivory nut ? Not an option I tend to see from other luthiers Quote

charic Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I have to admit I like it. I have a thing for full length inlays ^_^ Quote

thebeat Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Sod the looks! more importantly, can you get a P bass sound out of it? Quote

BassAgent Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I would buy about 20 Celinders before I would buy a Ritter like that. Quote
BigRedX Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 While that particular Ritter isn't the bass for me, it's great to see someone doing something that isn't simply a clone of the Fender designs. It's almost definitely a better investment than a new car costing the same amount of money and considerably less maintenance! Cost doesn't matter if you have the disposable income and it's the right instrument for you. Quote
flatwound Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 So,...is it a bass, or a "w***" ?? and I love this... "I'd rather have almost anything else (including piles). Horrible." and this... "Rather slam my knob in the car door again"........ how did ya manage to do that ?? Quote

leftybassman392 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Can't see this appearing at a gig anywhere near me anytime soon. Anyone with enough moolah to get this and not notice the hole in their bank account will:- a. not need to use it to earn their living; b. not want the great unwashed to have any chance of getting their sweaty mitts on it; c. deserve it. And you know what? They can keep it! Or better yet donate it to a worthy cause - ideas on this thread please... Quote
