BassAgent
New to this forum! My name is Hidde, 19 y.o., from The Netherlands. I've been playing bass for the last 10 years, and have owned many basses since then! I currently own this: -Cobelens & de Bruyne Primo (2008) -Celinder J Update 4 (1998) -Blade B2 Tetra Jazz with Aguilar OBP-1 (2001) -Fender Standard Jazz Bass fretless modded (2002) -Yamaha TRB 5II (2002) -Yamaha BB N5II (2002) -Squier Vintage Modified Precision (2007) -Yamaha TRB5F (1995) (For sale, local pickup only) -Aguilar AG500SC with 2 Aguilar DB112s -Some effects I came here for a question I had about my Celinder, but I think I'll stick around a bit longer I'll post some pics tomorrow. My gear has changed a bit lately so most pics I still have are outdated Edited September 3, 2009 by BassAgent

skankdelvar
Hi Hidde and welcome You've had 2 x more basses from 9-19 years than I've had from 15-51 years. Which probably means you're going to acquire around one bass per year. Which actually doesn't sound that bad. Hope you enjoy the forum! warwickhunt
Hello en onthaal. I have fond memories of Utrecht, I did some gigs over there about 20 years ago... a pure coincidence totally unrelated to your age I assure you! I'd fire away with questions about your Celinder, folks would love to drool over pics as well.
joegarcia
Hi Hidde, Welcome to the forum. I was over there in Utrecht a few weeks ago playing at Summer Darkness Festival. Lovely place, really wished we could have stayed longer. How do you find living there?
BassAgent
I like it way better than e.g. Amsterdam. It's a big city, but still has that small-town feeling. I study at the conservatory there.
joegarcia
Yea, definitely know what you mean about the big city with small town feeling. Hope to come back sometime soon.

RussFM
I stopped off in Utrecht recently on my way to Eindhoven. Didn't see anything other than the train station and buildings next to it unfortunately! Welcome to BC!

Prosebass
Hi Hidde and welkom aan boord, I'm sure you will stay longer than anticipated !!! My older brother lives in Utrecht and works for Rabobank, although most of his time is spent in the piano practice rooms at the University. I am hoping to visit soon to see the Railway Museum. ....Paul

Marvin
Hi there. My brother spent a couple of years in Utrecht, and I had a very nice evening dinner out there when I went to see him.
