fretless bob Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) ive had this bass around for quite a while, and my dad had it for quite a while before that, its got a medium gauge set of roto flats as has been my motown machine for a while, its got a great sound, very similar to a precision, but that an extra quality that is kinda hard to put my finger on. the general condition of the instrument is great, its got the odd nick or graise here and there but not bad for a 30 year old. its very light and balances well on a strap or on your lap. i havnt got a case for this bass though so buyer will have to sort that bit out. im selling because ive recently aquired a 77 p bass which sounds awesome so i have no need for this anymore. i dont have a case for it, i will post it anywhere in the UK and am happy for buyer collection, i will meet you half way if need be. (im in Harrow just off the a40) i am looking for £650 but am open to offers. lozbass Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) These are great - really good fun. This one appears to be in really good nick too. The banana custard (formerly Oly white?) is my second favourite colour Edited September 4, 2009 by lozbass
Kirky Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) That's identical to mine (not the one in my avatar which is just a stock shot from t'internet). Lovely basses and loads of fun to play. Edited September 4, 2009 by Kirky
molan Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 My first ever bass was one of these, bought in '78 or '79 I think. One of those I never should have sold really!
fretless bob Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 i wouldnt say it was a very overpriced, i spoke ti alex at the gallery who gave me a quote, might consider a price drop soon though Dave
wateroftyne Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 TheDave, could you have a look at the marketplace guidelines, please? If you have an issue with the asking price of an item, please PM the seller directly. Thanks.
TheDave Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 (edited) No issue with the price, I wouldnt sell mine for any less myself. If I had the cash I'd buy another. I have deleted my other post. Edited November 2, 2009 by TheDave
