Cracking good read, possibly the funniest music-related book I've read. Our guitarist will be getting a copy of this for his birthday, if only for the Floyd/Gilmour anecdotes. ;)

Moving on through the list, Super Mario Bass doesn't want it, so who's next... Chezz55?

Whilst not wanting to spoil anyone's anticipation(!), am I alone in thinking it it was a load of name-dropping-and-went -out- and- got- either- pissed/stoned/or-both load of waffle?
To be honest I could not wait to finish it and pass it on, and I'm not pissed off because he actually promised me an autographed copy which never materialised!
He decided to leave out all the "bassy" info to the appendix so it just became a load of mostly dull but occasionally mildly interesting anecdotes about people he got pissed/stoned with.
Maybe I expected too much and am genuinely greatful for the opportunity to read it but I just found it quite boring(IMHO).
Or maybe I lead a much more interesting life than him? ;)

Greetings, respects and heartiest salutations to one and all.

This erstwhile and well-travelled tome arrived 'Chez-Moi' yesterday (Wednesday 28 January 2009). As soon as I've finished reading it I'll contact the next name on the list.

Chris.

Book packed and entrusted to Royal Mail this morning, now en-route from me in rural Oxfordshire to Lobematt in suburban Liverpool.

As there have been a couple of comments about slow turnaround recently I thought it might be worth restating the 'terms and conditions':
First up, this is not your book. It's a communal book now. Once you've read it you must post it back on this thread to be passed on to the next person who wants it. Oh and if you've not read it inside a month then pass it on anyway slowcoach.
Good to know that it will soon be on its way once again. I bet poor old Mr Pratt is having to exist on cuppa soups because of the royalties we've denied him!

if it doesn't muddy the waters at all, i've got a copy that i'd be happy to pass around. it was given to me by a bass playing friend of mine, so i'd kind of like to pass the love on. :)

Can someone throw me on the list(s)?
