yorks5stringer Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) Whilst not wanting to spoil anyone's anticipation(!), am I alone in thinking it it was a load of name-dropping-and-went -out- and- got- either- pissed/stoned/or-both load of waffle? To be honest I could not wait to finish it and pass it on, and I'm not pissed off because he actually promised me an autographed copy which never materialised! He decided to leave out all the "bassy" info to the appendix so it just became a load of mostly dull but occasionally mildly interesting anecdotes about people he got pissed/stoned with. Maybe I expected too much and am [b]genuinely greatful [/b]for the opportunity to read it but I just found it quite boring(IMHO). Or maybe I lead a much more interesting life than him?
