waynepunkdude Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I like the look of a pick up cover on my Jazz but I want to try it before I start drilling, is there a way to temporarily stick it on? Quote
ped Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 You can fix it on with double sided numberplate tape, from most good motorist centers. I used that on my Bacchus jazz and it was so solid I didn't ever bother screwing it on and making the holes. Quote
waynepunkdude Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Cheers matey, I'll give it a go. Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Hey Wayne, halfords trim repair tape will do the job - I used it to put a PBass pickup cover on my DaisyRock Elite as I didn't want to drill through the pearloid top. If you PM me your address I'll drop some in the post for you. Quote
Mr. Foxen Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Give the surfaces a wipe with some meths to degrease and it will stick a load better, if thats what you are after. I've seen velcro dots used, if you stick them on the white squares, they'll hardly show. Quote
Cat Burrito Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Or carpet tape which is as good as double sided sticky tape. Just as good. Quote
beerdragon Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I take it this is not for gigging, just to see how it looks? Quote
