im trying to send a PM but i get this??

The number of opening and closing quote tags does not match. Please fix this to submit your post.

I had this the other day - it happens when you are replying to someone and accidentally typing within their message (between the brackets/'tags') or having accidentally deleted one of the brackets/tags.

Just start the message again and I'm sure you will have no problem

Are you quoting anything in it? If so, delete all the quotes and have another go...

OR you may be using Safari - I sometimes get some bizarre error messages and am forced to go back to Firefox.

This error will come up if you have incomplete code in your message.

For example if you are reply to a message and it looks like this:-

[code][quote]
Hi bob,

I just wanted to know if your XYZ was still for sale

[/quote]


Hullo Sam, I'm afraid it isn't anymore[/code]

Everything is fine....

but you'll get the error if you have too many opening quotes of closed quotes. Example:-

[code][quote]
Hi bob,

I just wanted to know if your XYZ was still for sale

[/quote]
[/quote]

The easiest thing to do, if you have multiple replies, is to delete the previous conversations so only your reply appears in the window OR remove ALL the quote code '[quote]' for example
