farmer61 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Am coming down with a bastard cold (or so it feels like) and I have 2 gigs this weekend. I need to be able to sing (if you call it that). I use Vocalzone lozengers (sp?) regularly, any other top tips for surviving colds and sniffles (mainly sore throats and coughs really) when out there gigging. ps I'm driving to both gigs so Alcohol and Potions that make you drowsy are not options - unfortunately. iamapirate Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Boil the kettle, get some blackcurrant ribena and dilute it THE best solution. Quote
tjkennelly Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I've got the same problem but I've got an audition as a vocalist tomorrow. I've been taking Nigroids which taste like s*** but are good, also soluble asprin in water and gargling helps Good luck Quote
