It's in remarkable nick, and a perfect weight. The proof is in the gig pudding, but so far... I love it. It's glorious.

I played that bass when John (slobluesline) brought it over when we were discussing a swap (turned out not) for my upright for his '64 jazz, He brought the '71 along too, very nice and I'm sure it will make you happy
