Im on the hunt for a new bass and narrowed it down to the above
Ibanez SR 520 or ESP Surveyor
Has anyone experience / feedback on either
I play in a metal band and am looking for a phat tone
These basses are not sold locally sold do not have an option of trying before buying
I would be swaying towards the ibanez - due to slim neck and lightweight body
Thanks

Ive got a surveyor ive been trying to sell, the neck is slimmer than a jazz. Sound wise its like a musicman and then some turn everything back and its like a jazz or precision. Only sound link ive got of one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3moRHcjXoNk wait untill half way through the song for just bass.

ESPs i think are quite "big" feeling whereas ibanez basses tend to be quite small and light feeling, so really it comes down to what you prefer. I personally love the look of the ESP surveyor range. I was thinking of getting one myself at somepoint.
