Squier JV Values

I know Squier JV prices are going up, that that's a lot of money really - isn't it?

He is expensive in general, if that is worth that much, then mine from the first month of production must be worth a grand, which it isn't I'm sure.

Ridiculously overpriced, but he seems overly optimistic with a lot the stuff he's got there. It's easy enough to pick up a tidy example for £350.

I saw a JV strat recently go on ebay for £1100, was the rare first headstock etc, so made in April 82.

I just sold mine on ebay, it went for £599, but it is a very rare first month of production bass, could well have got more for it, but put the BIN at that.

I've got a sunburst one of those (http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=3506&hl=jv+squiers) and although the screws are a little corroded, I picked it up for a lot less than that.
