YouMa
Doing some upgrades at the moment,I have 3 wires 2 black and one white coming from each pickup in my fender jazz which is the hot and which is the common? I would assume the 3rd wire from each pickup is for shielding each pickup cavity, anyone know.Cheers.

Once again thanks for your knowledge.Mark Edited September 9, 2009 by YouMa
YouMa
Anyone?
7string
I should think that any ground would work, either to the back of pot or a screw. There's a Fender webpage giving a load of wiring diagrams here which should help you.
