My friend painted my squier jazz scratch plate as a little present, i was drunk when i recieved it and loved it, although i've had numerous remarks from others that it looks 'gay' :)

i just think it looks vibrant and funky, tho i wish she didn't leave rings around the screwholes

opinions? does anyone here let their friends/amateurs customise the looks of their bass?

i like that a lot.

even if it does look gay, or amateurish or messy (which i dont think it does)

It doesnt matter because yours is the only one.

And thats the wonderful thing about Tiggers, right?

they go farther down on the lower horn

I really like it but I would take it back to her and ask if she can go over the rings around the screw holes.

EDIT: Then ask if you can go around the rings of her screw holes.
